Soap fans were quick to make the same comment as some of Coronation Street’s young stars enjoyed time together away from the cobbles with a very familiar face from Emmerdale.

Jude Riordan, who plays Sam Blakeman in Corrie, took to Instagram over the weekend to share a snap of himself with his co-stars as they enjoyed a day out at the Trafford Centre.

He was seen beaming for the photo alongside Bella Flanagan and William Flanagan, who are real-life twins but play Weatherfield cousins Hope Stape and Joseph Brown, and Charlie Wrenshall, who Corrie fans will know for playing Liam Connor in the ITV soap.

But it wasn’t just a Corrie outing as they were also joined by Amelia Flanagan, who is Bella and William’s older sister, famed for playing Emmerdale’s April Windsor.

Captioning the snap on Instagram, Jude wrote: “TV massive. My guys #corrie #coronationstreet #emmerdale #corriekids #filledmycupup #gang #crew #myguys #Manchester #traffordcentre.” Charlie also shared the picture to his own social media page and said: “CorrieDale.”

And both posts were quickly flooded with messages from Emmerdale fans who couldn’t help link Amelia’s appearance in the snap to her soap life as her alter-ego April is currently missing having left home on Christmas Day, leaving her dad Marlon Dingle and step-mum Rhona Goskirk distraught and desperate to find her.
