Carla Connor (Alison King) is set to find herself in a terrifying situation in upcoming Coronation Street scenes when she is violently attacked in Underworld.
The week gets off to a bad start for the factory owner when DS Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers) makes it clear that she isn’t ready for a relationship, despite the fact that the women have been growing close over recent weeks.
The pair shared a moment at the beginning of October which derailed their friendship for a few weeks.
Thankfully they managed to get things back on track, and Carla is set to confess her true feelings to Ryan Connor (Ryan Prescott) in upcoming scenes.
After the rejection from Lisa, Carla returns to the factory, she is shocked to discover that the place has been completely ransacked.
As she pulls out her phone to call the police, she is suddenly struck over the head, and falls to the ground.
With Carla hospitalised, Lisa drops everything to sit by her bedside, willing her to pull through. Will she be okay?
When Roy Cropper (David Neilson) and Ryan arrive to take Carla home later in the week, she admits that she had hoped Lisa would have come with them.
Having picked up on the chemistry between the two women, Roy later pulls Lisa aside, urging her to build bridges with Carla as it is clear that they like each other.
Will Roy’s words and Carla’s terrifying experience put things into perspective for Lisa, or will she continue to push Carla away?
And will Carla make a full recovery from her ordeal, or will things take a turn for the worse?
Elsewhere, Matty Radcliffe (Seamus McGoff) is hauled in for questioning in relation to Carla’s attack, but he is left smug when Alya Nazir (Sair Khan) corroborates his alibi.
When he goes on to make a dig about Becky’s death, Lisa is furious, and suspects he had something to do with it. Is she right?
