Beloved EastEnders star left homeless after getting kicked following tense family row

SPOILERS: EastEnders’ Gina Knight will end up homeless with nowhere to turn next week in a heartbreaking twist for the BBC soap favourite, spoilers have confirmed

An EastEnders favourite is set to end up homeless next week, following a dramatic family row.

Gina Knight (Francesca Henry) made her debut last year, with the rest of the Knight clan. And since then, it’s fair to say she’s been involved in several big moments on the show.

From her own drug battles to her family’s unraveling secrets, Gina’s time in Walford has not been short of drama. And over in the soap next week, things take a dramatic turn for Gina.

With Dean Wicks’ (Matt Di Angelo) trial taking place, Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) is back on the bottle. And during Tuesday’s episode (August 13) Gina assures Johnny that she will look after Linda while he heads out.

However, Johnny returns and a massive row breaks out between him and Linda. Later on, when Johnny’s calmed down, he returns home to find Linda in a life-threatening situation.

The paramedics rush into The Vic to treat Linda. At the hospital, devastated Johnny blames Gina for Linda’s plight and orders her to move out.

Meanwhile, Gina’s half-brother Junior (Micah Balfour), tempts her mum Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins) to a late-night glass of wine at his place. As fans will recall, the pair are having an affair.

Cindy gets all glammed up and makes her excuses to head over there. However, in the meantime, Gina arrives at Junior’s door and asks to move in.

He’s thrown by the request and is panicking that Cindy will turn up so upsets Gina by rejecting her – leaving her heartbroken.

Last month, Gina actor Francesca Henry gushed over her time on the BBC soap so far. She told Radio Times: “It’s been honestly the privilege of a lifetime.

“I’ve watched the show since I was a little girl and to be in the pub with the most incredible people and the best actors has been like… you can’t top it,” she added.

EastEnders airs Monday to Thursday at 7.30pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer
