EastEnders fans were left praising the show’s latest addition after Sharon Watts spent some time in prison – and they are now demanding she becomes a regular in Walford.
EastEnders enthusiasts are keen for Sharon Watts, played by Letitia Dean, to bring her prison pal Dor back to Walford after her stint in jail.
Sharon landed herself behind bars after being done for contempt of court. While serving time, she was reunited with Chrissie Watts (Tracy-Ann Oberman), her ex-stepmum, speaking to her for the first time in nearly two decades.
In what seemed like a warming reunion, Sharon looks to have pardoned Chrissie for murdering her father Den Watts (Leslie Grantham) – only to discover that Chrissie’s sympathy was all an act, as she secretly directed another inmate to “teach her a lesson”.
Amidst the clink’s chaos, Sharon wins over an unexpected ally – her cellmate Doreen (Sonia Ritter). When Sharon is targeted by Angel, a thuggish inmate, Chrissie swoops in feigning defence.
Believing Chrissie had her best interests at heart, Sharon kept her nose clean and dived into her laundry duties alongside Dor.
However, trouble was brewing, and soon she found herself up against threatening prisoners wielding a weapon as they menacingly called her “Princess” a nickname she didn’t realise Chrissie had fed them, reports the Daily Star.

A riot erupts later, giving Chrissie the perfect cover to capture Sharon and lock her up once more, this time in a different cell.
“You know me, I never forget a grudge,” Chrissie quipped, brandishing a weapon and announcing it was high time for Sharon to face the music.
Yet, despite the intense jailhouse scenes, Doreen has charmed EastEnders viewers who are now clamouring for her to become a permanent fixture on the show.
On social media platform X, one enthusiast penned: “Can someone break ar Dor out of prison and make her a main character #Eastenders.” (sic)

Another chimed in with: “Obsessed with Dor. Need Sharon to bring her to the square like Stacey did with Eve #EastEnders.” (sic)
A third fan expressed their future hopes: “Few months time, I want Doreen Coleman to rock up in Albert Square looking for Shazza when she’s been freed from HMP Walford. Get ar Dor in the laundrette ASAP #EastEnders.” (sic)
Echoing the sentiment, another added: “Our Dor needs protecting at all costs. #EastEnders.” (sic)
