Fans have made a plea for the factory boss and her new partner Lisa Swain as Rob his shocking plan into action

Coronation Street fans issue a plea over Carla Connor and her new partner Lisa Swain as they try and ‘work out’ who dies as Rob Donovan puts his shocking plan into action.

It was back in January that Carla’s nephew Bobby Crawford was seen kickstarting a train of events that has now brought Rob back into Carla’s life after several years. Carla’s younger sibling, and the former fiancé of Tracy Barlow, is currently in prison after being handed a life sentence for the murder of Tina McIntyre.

But after it was revealed that Carla needs a kidney transplant, Bobby, who is Rob’s son, visited his dad in the hope he’d be willing to help Carla and get tested in the hope he’d be a match and donate a kidney to his older sibling. After initially push back, Rob changed his mind and Carla also relented in letting her jailed sibling help her.

Previously released spoilers for this week’s Corrie revealed that Mandy, the prison guard, is in cahoots with Rob as his master plan is to escape from behind bars. Mandy collects Rob Donovan from his cell, checks he still wants to go ahead with his plan and kisses him passionately.

Having taken a call from the hospital, Carla tells Lisa that Rob has had an allergic reaction to some antibiotics and has been rushed to hospital. When Carla visits Rob in hospital, Mandy tells Carla that the consultant needs a word with her and as she heads off, Mandy uncuffs Rob.

But, as a new trailer for next week’s episodes of the ITV soap has now shown, Rob is willing to go to any lengths to escape jail and he has no qualms about who he hurts in the process.

With both Carla and Rob recovering from the kidney donation operation the stakes are high as Rob attacks a male security guard and steals his uniform, before taking Carla with him as he flees the hospital. Lisa is hot on their heels, but has she underestimated just how far Rob will go? Is he prepared to kill again or will he pay the ultimate price for his audacious plan?

Now, Corrie fans are calling for Carla and Lisa to be given a ‘break’ after their latest drama as they believe that Rob will be the one to lose his life in the upcoming scenes.
