Emmerdale fans ‘can’t get over it’ as they hear Belle Dingle star’s real voice for first time

Emmerdale Belle Dingle star Eden Taylor-Draper has shocked fans with her real voice

Emmerdale fans have been left open-mouthed after hearing Belle Dingle star Eden Taylor-Draper’s real accent.

The actor shot to fame playing Belle on the ITV soap making her debut in 2005 when she was just eight years old. Since then, Belle has become a firm favourite with fans.

She’s also played a part in several big storylines – from killing her best pal to a shock affair with the village doctor, Belle’s time in the Dales has not been short of drama.

Especially in the past twelve months as Belle was the victim of domestic abuse at the hands of her sicko husband Tom King (James Chase). Tom made her life a living nightmare for over a year. by gaslighting and abusing her.

Fortunately, Belle’s ordeal came to an end last year, when Tom was found guilty of assault and controlling and coercive behaviour and he got three years custodial sentence.

And it’s fair to say Eden’s portrayal of Belle has gone down well with viewers, as over the years, she’s been awarded several awards, including the Best Dramatic Performance from a Young Actor or Actress Award and the Best Young Performance award at the British Soap Awards.

Away from the soap though, fans have recently been left open-mouthed after hearing actor Eden’s real voice for the first time. Reacting to an interview with Eden on TikTok, one person wrote: “I didn’t expect Eden to speak so beautifully.”

Someone else added: “It’s so strange to hear how Eden really talks.” Echoing their thoughts, a third chimed in: “Same! I can’t get over her real voice.” Another fan penned: “Saw her on This Morning, speaking her own voice. Completely different! I hardly recognised her.”

This year marks a significant milestone for Eden as she celebrates 20 years with the cast, and during a May appearance on Lorraine with Christine Lampard, she expressed her eagerness to reach this anniversary.

She exclaimed: “I can’t believe this, I was 7 or 8 when I joined, it will be 20 years next year. The Dingles started this tradition where when you get to a big anniversary you get an engraved bracelet from the Dingles, so I really want that bracelet – there’s only a few Jim, Jeff, Jane had one so I feel like I want to be in the gang, I’m nearly there!”.
