Emmerdale fans saw April Windsor returning to the village on Friday night.
Emmerdale fans seem to think newcomer Dylan (played by Fred Kettle) could have another connection to the village.
During Thursday night’s instalment of the ITV soap, unbeknownst to April, Dylan came to the hospital to check if she was okay. But as a nurse approached, he put his hood up and walked away.
However, some fans seem to think this won’t be the last they see of the youngster because he could be related to someone already in the village – Joe Tate (Ned Porteous).
Taking to a Facebook fan page to share their thoughts and theories, one fan said: “Bring the young lad to the village, the one that helped April.”
“I reckon it’s Joe Tate’s son,” someone theorised while another agreed: “It’s Joe Tate’s secret son, but who is the mum?”
Another went on: “Apparently, he is coming into it and someone in the village is his dad.”
“Joe’s secret son is Dylan,” one went on.
Another fan suggested Eli Dingle (Joseph Gilgun), writing: “I think I read a rumour that Eli Dingle is coming back to the Dales. Just a random thought, maybe April’s friend is his son.”
During Friday’s episode, April confided in Ross (Michael Parr) about her pregnancy and admitted she never wanted a baby. She also revealed that the baby she gave birth to was a girl.
However, Ross couldn’t help but question the teenager on the father’s identity. “Do I know him?” he asked.
April replied: “He was just some lad I met at a party. He made me laugh, and I liked that, but I didn’t even know his name.”
Meanwhile, Joe and Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley) continued their secret love affair, but they could soon be exposed.
Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) has been trying to dig some dirt up about Joe after he persuaded Noah (Jack Downham) to move to Dubai – and it looks like she has found it.
After stealing his laptop from Home Farm, Charity found some recordings, one of which exposes Joe’s affair with Dawn.
Will Charity expose the pair or use it to blackmail Joe and convince Noah to stay in the village?
