Emmerdale viewers are convinced that they have rumbled the real identity of Ruby Fox-Miligan’s father – and it’s not Anthony

Emmerdale viewers have figured out the true identity of Ruby Fox-Miligan’s father, and it’s not Anthony. Anthony (played by Nicholas Day) made his first appearance on the soap last year as Ruby’s estranged dad.

As he settled into village life, Ruby began to unravel, clearly hiding something about her father. It was later disclosed that Anthony had sexually abused Ruby when she was just 14 years old.

Moreover, it was confirmed that Anthony is the biological father of Ruby’s daughter Steph (portrayed by Georgia Jay), not Caleb Miligan (William Ash). After Anthony’s horrific crimes were revealed last week, several villagers sought revenge, with Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) violently attacking Anthony at the local depot, triggered by his own past abuse.

Believing he had killed Anthony, a distraught Aaron confided in John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth), who quickly stepped in to assist. They returned to the depot where John checked Anthony’s pulse and informed Aaron that he was dead.

John then disposed of Anthony’s body, while Aaron was consumed with guilt, believing he had committed murder. However, during Thursday’s episode (January 30), the truth came to light, reports Leicestershire Live.

Unable to bear the burden, Aaron went to Ruby’s house and confessed his belief that he had killed Anthony. But in a shocking twist, Ruby revealed that she was the one who delivered the fatal blow, explaining that she had gone to the Depot and watched Aaron leave after his attack on Anthony.

Fans are buzzing with speculation after witnessing Ruby’s tragic blunder in Emmerdale, convinced she’s killed the wrong man. “I think we will find out soon that Anthony is not Ruby’s dad and her mother Helen slept around,” one viewer speculated on an Emmerdale Facebook fan page.

The plot thickens as others suggest Anthony might have a secret twin who’s the true culprit and Steph’s biological father. “Might be a stretch but hear me out: What if Anthony had an identical twin who was Ruby’s uncle and he is Steph’s real father. The uncle arrived in the village last week and he’s the one who Ruby murdered?” pondered a fan.
