Fans of Hollyoaks and Stacey Solomon were left doing a double-take this week, as her sons made some brief cameos.

Tuesday’s (January 21) episode saw Stacey’s kids Zachary and Leighton pop up on the show, with Zachary bringing a delivery to Pearl at Price Slice, before Leighton turned up to grab some newspapers for his paper round.

The official Hollyoaks Instagram account shared the scene as well as some photos of the lads on set with actors Dawn Hope, Jennifer Metcalfe, and Charlie Clapham.

The soap hasn’t said whether this was a one-off cameo or if the boys could be making more appearances, but neither of them was credited with the cast members in the episode’s credits.

Elsewhere in this week’s Hollyoaks, Zoe Anderson made her exit in the wake of Prince McQueen’s cheating.

Prince himself was targeted by Jez Blake for looking into Dilly Harcourt’s ‘disappearance’ (she was murdered by Jez after she learned that Sienna Blake killed Ethan Williams on his wedding day).

Thankfully for him, Sienna managed to convince Prince to forget about Dilly (by sleeping with him), giving Jez no reason to kill him.

Local policeman DI Banks was also revealed as the boss of the human trafficking gang that Rex Gallagher has been working for, while evil Abe Fielding turned up at the cliffhanger of Wednesday’s episode to terrorise the McQueen family once more.

Hollyoaks airs on Mondays-Wednesdays with its Channel 4 streaming premiere at 7am, then an E4 broadcast the same night at 7pm. Full episodes are also released on YouTube a week after their Channel 4 release.
