Coronation Street viewers are set to be glued to their screens next week as a collection of explosive spoilers rock the cobbles, including one character’s exit being ‘sealed’

Coronation Street fans will be left gripped next week with a collection of explosive spoilers on the cobbles.

In upcoming scenes, one character’s exit is teased after three years as they face court drama. Elsewhere, Daisy Midgeley’s baby daddy is finally revealed as she gets her DNA results.

Also on the cobbles, Cassie Plummer finds herself being confronted by Ken Barlow while Daniel Osbourne could be exposed as Bethany Platt looks to leave Weatherfield. Here’s a look at the top Coronation Street spoilers…

Exit ‘sealed’ after three years

In scenes next week, Lauren Bolton is in court as part of the trial for the murder of Joel Deering. The evil character was found dead back in October following a disappearance and it was soon revealed that Lauren was the killer after a whodunnit as she hit Joel’s head with a rock in order to save Max Turner’s life.

Spoilers see Lauren learn that baby Frankie is not well and in hospital while she is at court. Upset that she is stuck in court and can’t go to her son, Lauren tells the prosecution barrister during Max’s cross examination that she is glad Joel is dead.

Later at the hospital, Lauren informs Max that Frankie’s fighting an infection. Certain she’s going to prison, Lauren regrets losing her temper in court and tells Max that she doesn’t care about the trial and the only thing that matters is Frankie getting better.

Later in the week, while Lauren keeps vigil by Frankie’s hospital bed, over in the courtroom the barristers deliver their closing statements to the jury. However, when Dee-Dee Bailey calls and tells Lauren that the jury can’t reach an agreement, Lauren is worried it is a bad sign.

With Lauren’s fate in the jury’s hands there is nothing more she can do and later in the week she returns to court for her verdict… could there be an exit for Lauren after three years or will she return to the cobbles?

Daisy Midgeley’s baby daddy revealed as Daniel Osbourne ‘exposed’

Daisy Midgeley recently discovered that she is pregnant with either Daniel Osbourne or Kit Green the baby’s father in a paternity twist.

In upcoming scenes, Daniel tells Daisy he wants her to do a DNA test as he needs to know if she’s carrying his baby or not. Daisy books the DNA test and insists Daniel go with her. Meanwhile, Daniel’s fiancée Bethany Platt calls the magazine in London and asks them if the job is still available.

Things take a dramatic twist when Daisy learns Jenny Connor has sold a load of their stuff in order to pay back Carla Connor and Bethany has bought her designer handbag. Meanwhile, over at the flat, Bethany tells Daniel she’s accepted the job in London and wants him to consider a trial move.

Later in the week, Sarah and Daniel celebrate Bethany’s new job in the Rovers. However, things take an awkward turn when Bethany hands Daisy a positive pregnancy test she found in her designer handbag she bought, leaving the barmaid mortified. Assuming Kit to be the father, Bethany wishes Daisy well not realising Daniel could also be the dad.

As Jenny hosts a lunchtime quiz in the Rovers, Daisy’s stressed out by Kit and Daniel’s presence. Later, when Bethany reveals that she and Daniel have set a wedding date, Daisy sees red, but what will she do?

Following Daisy’s anger, Jenny finds her doubled up in pain in the back room and insists on taking her to hospital. It’s not long until Kit is there to support her and Daisy lets him stay for the scan.

Later in the week, Bethany tells Sarah that she’s still going ahead with her move to London. As Daniel, Bethany and Sarah carry Bethany’s things out of the builder’s yard flat, Sarah spots Daisy and rails at her for destroying Bethany’s relationship. Has Bethany learnt that Daniel could be the dad to Daisy’s baby?

As the week concludes, Daisy receives the results of the DNA test. She reads it but then quickly deletes it and tells Jenny that the father of her baby is irrelevant and the result shall remain a secret.

Cassie Plummer finally exposed

In upcoming scenes, Adam Barlow and Alya Nazir find Cassie Plummer home alone at No.1 and ask why she’s there while Ken Barlow’s out. Cassie explains she was cleaning Ken’s bedroom but once they leave, she pulls Ken’s credit card out of her pocket before covertly replacing it later on.

Later in the week, Daniel warns Ken not to be too trusting where Cassie’s concerned as Bertie saw her slipping something into his drink and swore him to secrecy. Ken confronts Cassie over Daniel’s allegation, how will Cassie get out of this one and has she finally been exposed?
