Coronation Street star Sydney Martin has been flooded with messages as she wowed fans with her previously unknown talent. The actress is currently known for playing Betsy Swain in the ITV soap.
Sydney, from Rossendale, made her debut in the ITV soap last year as Betsy before it was revealed she was playing the previously unseen daughter of DS Lisa Swain.
The character has already been ruffling feathers in Weatherfield but has recently showcased her acting talents as part of Corrie’s hard-hitting knife crime storyline which saw Betsy’s Mason Radcliffe die after being stabbed by his brothers in an attack.
But away from the cobbles, Sydney is trying to keep things light and has been seen showing off her talent for singing in a video shared alongside her boyfriend, Jack Hainey.
She took to TikTok with a video of the pair ‘messing around’ as her beau played guitar as she beautfilly sang Another Love by Tom Odell. “We were messing around fyi I’m not a singer, and Jack just happened to own a guitar,” she captioned the post.

But despite her playing down her voice, the compliments quickly came flooding in. ria.lucy said: “You’ve got a really good voice.” corrieeditsz0 commented: “Wow Sydney your voice is so beautiful your acting is phenomenal your singing is phenomenal keep going don’t let anybody tell you different.”
