Emmerdale’s latest episode on Tuesday night saw one character taken away by police after a murder accusation, as Will Taylor’s funeral took a killer turn for Kim Tate
There was a possible arrest on Emmerdale on Tuesday night, as a character faced murder accusations.
As a villager was laid to rest after their recent demise, a relative accused one resident of causing their death. It seemed Will Taylor’s ‘real killer’ was exposed, as far as his grieving daughter Dawn Taylor was concerned.
Over Christmas, soap fans saw Will die in a major twist after a sudden heart attack. Kim Tate had just found out her husband had been planning to destroy her with the help of Peter and a mystery enemy of Kim’s.
Said enemy turned out to be returning character Joe Tate, with Joe heading to Home Farm on Christmas Day and exposing Will’s plan. Of course by this point Will had changed his mind but it wasn’t enough, and Kim insisted they were over for good.
It all became too much for Will though and as he pleaded with Kim for another chance he suddenly collapsed, clutching his chest as he fell to the ground. Kim initially believed Will was faking it before Joe returned and confirmed he was having a heart attack.
While they waited for an ambulance Will died, with Kim and Joe keeping what happened a secret. Unbeknownst to Kim though, prior to his death and before their reunion he had filmed a video to be shown to Dawn if he passed away.

Dawn watched this clip and it showed Will claiming that if she was viewing it, he was dead at the hands of Kim. Claiming Kim to be his killer, he left the confession for Dawn on a USB.
As Will’s funeral took place on Tuesday night, Dawn confronted her stepmother and accused her of murder in front of everyone. She and Kim had a minor showdown, before a grieving Dawn fled the service in tears.
Kim was forced to face the attendees having just been blamed as Will’s killer in front of them all, with her insisting it wasn’t true. That wasn’t the end of it though, and soon there was a shock arrest.
After Kim and the others watched Will’s burial, the moment was interrupted as the police arrived. Soon they made their way over to Kim and told her that a serious accusation had been made, and that they needed to speak with her at the police station.
It soon became clear Dawn had called them, once again accusing Kim of killing Will. Kim asked if she was being arrested while they seemed to imply it was simply just a questioning and not an arrest, with her soon led away – but could she face prison?
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX, with an hour-long episode on Thursdays.
