ITV Emmerdale exit ‘sealed’ as beloved resident left fighting for life after brutal attack

Emmerdale fan favourite Aaron Dingle was left fighting for his life after being attacked in the barn following the illegal fight between Ross Barton and Billy Fletcher

Emmerdale viewers are on tenterhooks over the fate of Aaron Dingle after he was brutally assaulted in the aftermath of a bare-knuckle boxing match.

In the latest episode (November 7), available now on ITVX, Ross Barton (Michael Parr) and Billy Fletcher (Jay Kontzle) were forced into a rematch by Jade (Twinnie Lee Moore), who threatened their families if they didn’t comply.

After learning about her husband’s illicit fights, Dawn (Olivia Bromley) instructed Billy to take a hit and lose, as Jade wanted, to protect their family. The violent clash took place at Butler’s barn, with Dawn, Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb), and Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) watching as Ross and Billy traded blows.

However, John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth) arrived to warn them that the police were en route. Jade hastily called off the fight, and her gang scrambled to gather their belongings and flee.

When two thugs couldn’t locate their stash of cash, Aaron attempted to stop one but was punched and collapsed. An officer summoned an ambulance while John sprang into action to help Aaron, with Mack looking on helplessly.

In an intense twist, John had to carry out an emergency procedure on Aaron to get his lungs functioning before the ambulance whisked him away to hospital, reports Leeds Live.

Meanwhile, back at the barn, Mack stumbled upon the hidden cash stash while Chas Dingle (played by Lucy Pargeter) and Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson) dashed for the hospital.

Hitting up social media platform X, fans let their worries be known with one typing out: “Aaron is in danger”, and another blurting with shock: “OMG Aaron! ? ? ? # Emmerdale.”
