Lauren Bolton (Cait Fitton) has had a tough time in Coronation Street this year, but things could be set to start looking up for her.
The troubled teen was groomed by Joel Deering (Calum Lill) at the beginning of the year, and was later left terrified when he attacked her and left her for dead.
It later transpired that she was pregnant with his baby, and Joel offered to put a roof over her head and help her leave the country.
However, knowing that their baby was proof of what Joel did, he came up with a sick plot to get rid of it, by drugging Lauren with pills that would induce an early labour.
Thankfully, Lauren’s baby survived, but it has been a long and worrying journey for the new mum.
Recently, Lauren received news that baby Frankie would soon be able to leave the hospital, though her hopes dwindled when Dee-Dee Bailey (Channique Sterling-Brown) withdrew her offer to let them stay with her.
Fortunately, Max Turner (Paddy Bever) is soon set to make a gesture that will leave Lauren in a much better situation.
Max and Lauren recently started dating again, after admitting their feelings for each other.
After announcing it to the family, Shona Platt (Julia Goulding) promised that she would speak to David Platt (Jack P Shepherd) about letting Lauren and Frankie move in with them.
In upcoming scenes, David and Max pay Lauren a visit and inform her that once they are out of foster care, she and Frankie are more than welcome to stay with them.
How will Lauren react?
