Who does she have her eye on?
Hollyoaks spoilers follow.
Hollyoaks has confirmed that a new love interest for Vicky Grant will be revealed next week.
Vicky’s love life has been rocky, to say the least, with her fling with Ethan being thwarted when he got back with his ex, Sienna.
But Ethan cheated on Sienna with Vicky during the show’s missing year, which resulted in an unwanted pregnancy – a bombshell that was revealed at Ethan and Sienna’s wedding, shortly before he fell to his death.
After the time jump, it was revealed that Vicky was in a new relationship with Robbie, but just as he was about to propose to her, he found out that she still had feelings for Ethan and ended their relationship.
The pair rekindled their romance shortly after, but Robbie now has a big secret after he decided to help Vicky’s dad Donny with his financial struggles.
He helped him to stage a robbery at his house so he could then claim on the insurance, but the break-in went wrong, and Robbie injured Vicky in the process.
Donny’s scheme was soon exposed and Vicky was left devastated, but she still doesn’t know that it was Robbie who carried out the robbery and caused her head injury.
Meanwhile, Robbie has custody of his niece Lexi, after her dad Freddie was arrested and his daughter was taken away from him again.
Robbie isn’t allowing his brother to see Lexi, but in scenes that will air next week, Vicky goes behind her partner’s back and lets Freddie spend some quality time with his daughter, as he tries to make amends.
Unaware of what Vicky has done, Robbie plans a romantic dinner with her. But his grand gesture might go to waste, as it appears that someone else has caught Vicky’s wandering eye.
Who is the mystery man, and will Robbie find out?
Last month, executive producer Hannah Cheers teased that there were big things to come for Vicky, saying that she was “at the root of a lot of stories”.
Hollyoaks airs on Mondays-Wednesdays with its Channel 4 streaming premiere at 7am, then an E4 broadcast the same night at 7pm. Full episodes are also released on YouTube a week after their Channel 4 release.
