Ellie stunned as she turned out in a blue dress
Ellie Leach has been supported by Strictly Come Dancing and Coronation Street stars. The Strictly 2023 winner shared a series of stunning images to her Instagram account after she attended the Pride of Britain Awards on Monday, October 21.
Wearing a vibrant blue dress and holding a beautiful oval shaped bag, the former Coronation Street actress was snapped on the red carpet. She captioned the post: “Pride of Britain Awards 2024. An honour to be in a room full of extraordinary people doing extraordinary things.”
The Pride of Britain Awards is held in association with the Daily Mirror and celebrates truly extraordinary achievements of people of all ages, from children to lifesaving emergency workers in local communities. The 25th edition of the awards was hosted by by Carol Vorderman and Ashley Banjo.
Flooding the comments of her latest post were fans and celebrity friends. Love Island star Tasha Ghouri, who is competing on the current series of Strictly left heart-eyed emojis. Another former Coronation Street praising Ellie was Sophie Webster star, Brooke Vincent, she also left heart-eyed emojis. Both actresses are cousins in real life.
Channique Brown, renowned for playing Dee-Dee Bailey on the cobbles commented “beauty” and Helen Flanagan added “beautiful girl.” Fans also rushed to the comments with one writing: “You look so beautiful and elegant as always.
“I love seeing you in whatever you do. I miss you so much this year, it is not the same without you and Vito as partners.” Another added: “You look amazing that colour really suits you. One of the most beautiful gowns on a beautiful lady.”
Ellie recently shared her disbelief as she reflected on her whirlwind past 12 months. The former Coronation Street star was on her way to lifting the Glitterball this time last year when she was competing on Strictly Come Dancing.
The 23-year-old is still reeling from her success as the triumph only whet her appetite to keep testing her limits. Ellie has once again stepped outside of her comfort zone with her latest project as she signed up to make her theatre debut in the touring production of Cluedo 2.
The stage adaptation of the classic board game arrives at the New Brighton Floral Pavilion from November 12 – 16 and Ellie spoke to the ECHO in an exclusive interview before the show comes to Merseyside.
She said: “I honestly can’t believe that it’s been a year. It’s been the most incredible time and I just had the most amazing experience. I just feel so lucky and proud that me and Vito had that experience together.
“And that people supported us and voted for us every week. It really is a dream come and it was the most amazing experience that I’ll just keep with me for the rest of my life.”
