Coronation Street star Kyran Bowes has been flooded with messages after he shared a personal update. The actor has been growing up in front of viewers’ eyes, having joined the ITV soap as Jack Webster in 2016, taking over the role from another actor.

Fans will know that Jack is the teenage son of mechanic Kevin Webster and the tragic Molly Dobbs, who died in the Weatherfield tram disaster.

The young character has had an eventful young life, including a brush with death after battling sepsis during which he underwent a life-saving surgery to have his leg removed.

But away from his on-screen role, Kyran’s latest social media update revealed how much he is growing up by revealing he’d passed his driving test.

Sharing a picture of himself next to his driving instructor’s car, the soap star, who hails from Blackpool, said on Instagram: “Chuffed to bits today passed 1st time with zero faults.”
