Bianca Jackson (Patsy Palmer) finally worked up the courage to go to the doctor about her mental health in recent EastEnders scenes, but she was hit with bad news.
Earlier this year, Bianca was diagnosed with depression. Since her return to Albert Square, best friend Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) has been seriously worried about her, and has tried desperately to get her to see a doctor.
However, Freddie Slater (Bobby Brazier) soon noticed similarities in Bianca’s behaviour to his own, and suggested that she may actually have ADHD.
Viewers will remember that Freddie was diagnosed with ADHD last year, after reflecting on his struggles at school.
Despite trying to get out of it, Bianca eventually relented and headed to her doctors appointment, with Freddie by her side for support.
In the appointment, Freddie and Bianca argued, before the doctor cut in to reveal that he believed Bianca’s symptoms could be a result of ADHD.
However, there was bad news, as he revealed that there was a long waiting list for an appointment to get a diagnosis, and she could be left waiting for months.
Going private was also out of the question thanks to the cost, and when Bianca asked if she could get in touch with the same person who had assessed Freddie, he was quick to shut her down.
Freddie managed to get a fast-tracked appointment because of Theo Hawthorne (William Ellis), who turned out to be stalking Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner).
With no other options, Bianca decided to wait it out, later pointing out to Freddie that she needed to stick around to help Sonia Fowler (Natalie Cassidy) anyway.
Sonia is currently in prison, having been charged with the murder of Debbie Colwell.
Bianca is certain that she is innocent, and suspects that Reiss Colwell (Jonny Freeman) is the real killer – and she’s right.
Will Bianca be able to prove her suspicions and free her sister?
