Frankie is keeping a secret…
Hollyoaks has shared a first-look clip of Lucas Hay reuniting with best friend Frankie Osborne, on his return to the village.
Lucas has been serving time in Young Offenders, following his attack on JJ when he found out that he had sexually abused Frankie – an incident that took place during the missing year.
But next week, Lucas will return home, and a newly released clip – available to watch above – shows that he quickly catches up with his bestie Frankie.
The pair share a sweet hug, and Frankie is pleased to have her confidant back in her life.
It isn’t long before Lucas must dash off to catch up with his dad, but as Frankie walks away beaming, Dillon lurks in the shadows – hiding from his boyfriend.
It was revealed last month that Dillon is the father of Leah’s baby, which means he cheated on Lucas with his boyfriend’s sister.
This bombshell remains a secret for now, but in next week’s scenes, Frankie becomes suspicious after spotting Dillon spending time with baby James.
Frankie decides to confront him with her suspicions and asks Dillon whether he is the father of the baby.
Later in the week, Lucas reunites with his dad, which is particularly poignant as Ste is recovering after being in a coma for a year.
He also meets his nephew James for the first time, but he admits that he is nervous about seeing Dillon again.
Lucas’ worries are cast aside, though, when Leela tells him that Dillon has missed him, too, and also explains that he looked after Leah during her pregnancy.
Meanwhile, Dillon begs Frankie not to tell Lucas that he is James’ father, and Frankie is left unsure about what to do.
She doesn’t want to keep secrets from her best friend, but when she sees Lucas and Dillon’s emotional reunion, she gets second thoughts about spilling the beans.
Will Frankie reveal the truth, and will Lucas find out about Dillon’s shock betrayal?
Hollyoaks airs on Mondays-Wednesdays with its Channel 4 streaming premiere at 7am, then an E4 broadcast the same night at 7pm. Full episodes are also released on YouTube a week after their Channel 4 release.
