The truth about a supposed fling is revealed.
Emmerdale spoilers follow.
Will Taylor has admitted he lied as part of his revenge against Kim Tate in Emmerdale.
He has vowed to bring Kim down for good, having aligned with Kim’s arch-nemesis Caleb Miligan to hire a high-priced divorce lawyer.
His most recent attempt to make his estranged wife Kim jealous was making her believe that he’d had a fling with Kerry Wyatt.
In Wednesday’s (October 9) episode, Kim was furious to see Kerry Wyatt sneaking downstairs at Home Farm in the same clothes she’d worn the night before.
“Maybe I should go,” Kerry wondered aloud, with Kim snapping back: “Maybe you should.”
At the cafe, Will bragged to Jimmy that Kerry had spent the night. A shocked Jimmy blurted out in front of everyone that Kim would be furious to find out Will “slept with” Kerry.
“I’ve done nowt that [Kim] hasn’t done,” Will insisted.
Jimmy gave Will a reality check as he explained Kim’s recent vengeance was because she found out about Will’s secret kiss with ex-wife Rose Jackson.
“What’s your excuse?” Jimmy asked Will.
At The Hyde, Kim was disgusted to overhear Kerry loudly calling Will on the phone to invite him for lunch.
“Nobody respects me anymore,” Kim grumbled to Lydia. “They just think they can say and do whatever they like. You know why? Because Will’s doing it and I’m letting him.”
Later, Jimmy and Amy were both shocked to see Will handing Kerry a wad of cash. Will then admitted he hadn’t slept with Kerry, he just needed Kim to think he did.
“Kerry needed some cash, so it was like a win-win,” Will told his mate, with Kerry adding: “A little consensual non-sex never hurt anyone!”
Will then joked: “Worth every penny and all. Kim will still be boiling about it!”
Will Kim discover Will’s latest ploy?
