Episode 8334
UK airdate: Thursday 10 October 2024 at 13:45 on Channel 5 and 18:00 on 5STAR
Levi is concerned about Abigail’s condition, pushing her to get her arm treated because it’s infected. She resists, not keen to go to hospital. Levi offers to treat her himself, on one condition – she has to come home with him. She complies, and he treats her while grilling her about her drug use.
Levi refuses to give Abigail the money she needs, so she threatens to go find it somewhere else, which terrifies him. He keeps pushing to help her realise that this is a threat to her life.
Abigail continues to shrink under the weight of her withdrawals, tearfully telling Levi she just needs to get through the next few days. Seeing his sister like this is breaking Levi. He caves and gives her the money, so she doesn’t do something dangerous to get it on her own.
Meanwhile, Justin visits Cash and Eden to consult them about the memorial that they’re planning to hold for Felicity’s friends in Summer Bay. Cash tells Justin he’s okay with the idea; a ‘Festival of Felicity’ is something she would have wanted. As the planning continues, Theo suggests they enjoy tequila shots and a performance from Lyrik, as Felicity was a lover of life.
Eden bumps into Remi and Bree while she’s on the brink of a spiral and in a rush to get on the road for the funeral. Then she remembers about the wedding dresses. She needs to return them, or Cash will get charged. Remi and Bree offer to handle it, and the relief causes Eden to crack under the weight of her emotions.
Later, Bree’s own emotions come to the surface as she struggles with the aftermath of losing a patient and seeing the impact of the loss outside of the hospital walls.
Cash and Eden arrive at Gary’s place and Cash greets him with a weighted hug. Gary shares fond memories of Felicity but it’s too painful for Cash – he walks away. Alone with Gary, Eden’s grief is addressed as Gary muses about the stories he heard – Felicity and Eden would get up to mischief. But her concern is more about Cash than herself – he won’t talk and she doesn’t know what to do to help him. The next morning, Cash, Eden and Gary head to Felicity’s funeral.
