Emmerdale viewers are convinced they know how evidence of Tom King stalking Belle Dingle, found by Moira Dingle on his iPad, will resurface and who will be the one to expose him
Tom King could finally be brought down on Emmerdale after some hidden evidence emerged that revealed his abuse towards Belle Dingle.
It confirmed Tom had been spying on her, while he did tell the police and uncle Jimmy King that he had set up cameras in their home. He claimed it was for her own protection, but he denied filming her without her consent.
With the iPad missing the police knew this would likely prove Belle’s version of events, with Tom desperate to find it first. Fans know that Tom has been abusing Belle for months, with it starting as coercive control before he turned violent.
Belle is fighting back, but an incident last week where he threatened to kill her led to her shoving an axe in his back. He’s now recovering at home and Belle has reported him to the police, as well as confirming what she’d done.
But it seemed Moira Dingle could hold the key to Tom’s abuse which would help Belle. Her son Isaac had stolen Tom’s iPad from his pal Carl, Tom’s young cousin.
The pair were playing on it unaware of what was stored on it and soon Isaac took it home. Moira found it and managed to get into it, with her stunned to find video footage of Belle in her home.

Moira realised what she was seeing and that it could help Belle, so she left her sister-in-law a frantic message. She told her she needed to see her as there was something she needed to see, and that it was “worse than she could ever have imagined”.
Belle raced to find Moira who had set off looking for her. But while alone Moira, who was recently diagnosed with a brain tumour, suffered another seizure and got lost.
After her brother Mackenzie found her and took her home, viewers realised Moira had no recollection of where she was going and why. As Belle came to the house and asked her what she needed to say, Moira became tearful as she had forgotten about the iPad and what she had witnessed.
Belle begged her to think and remember, but Moira broke down as she failed to recall anything about the iPad. But could someone else have seen the contents on the iPad previously, and could they let slip about the videos?
After all, Carl had had the iPad for a while and knew the passcode, with him then giving access to Isaac. So might one of the boys figure it all out and expose Tom?
Viewers certainly think this will be the case with some suggesting one or both of them will have seen the footage, and will reveal all. One viewer said: “How long before Carl Jr finds the videos and dobbs Tom in,” as another wrote: “Carl is gonna be key to Tom’s downfall, ironic his dads name sake too.” A third added: “Him threatening Isaac ohhhh he’s gonna get it from Cain.”
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX, with an hour-long episode on Thursdays.
