EastEnders fans were left in hysterics after spotting an apparent blunder in a scene featuring Kat Slater and Bianca Jackson during Monday night’s episode of the BBC soap
Bianca Jackson and Kat Slater had EastEnders fans in stitches after they spotted a huge blunder during Monday’s episode.
Eagle-eyed telly addicts stirred up a storm on social media when they couldn’t get their heads around a blooper involving the old friends. In a blink-and-you-miss-it moment, fans zeroed in on a gaffe which clearly showed a boom mic that should have been kept out of shot covering a character’s leg.
Bianca is on a mission to nail Reiss Colwell for bumping off his missus Debbie, certain he’s responsible and trying to set Sonia up. Bianca blurted: “There is something he doesn’t want me to know, Kat!”
Alfie Moon’s former flame Kate hit back: “Don’t you think you are picking at crumbs, B, jumping from one thing to another, I’m worried about you?”, reports the Daily Record.
As the duo traded blows, viewers were more distracted by Bianca’s grey trousers. They rushed to social media to spotlight the glaring gaffe. The blooper saw a rogue fluffy boom microphone sneaking on-screen, in front of Bianca’s leg and slightly camouflaged.
One viewer penned on X, formerly Twitter: “Nice of the microphone wind muff to make an appearance… not one to be upstaged.” As someone else agreed: “This would have definitely ended up on Harry Hill’s TV Burp or It’ll Be Alright On The Night! How did it manage to go through editing without people noticing?”
A third fan pointed out: “The way it just creeps up into shot is sending me.” Meanwhile, another added a cheeky dig: “Editing team probably were half asleep.”
It comes after Pastor Clayton was killed off on the soap – but viewers are sure he’s still alive.
His body hasn’t yet been seen on-screen, and his wife shared the news, leading to viewers being sure she’s lying. One said: “My view is in Soapland, if we don’t find proof or see signs of a body. There’s a 50/50 chance he’s not dead.”
Another fan penned: “Don’t rule out the possibility of Clayton faking his own death in a means to escape justice. Stella could be keeping him in hiding somewhere or perhaps sent him away because she’s always been so adamant that he is innocent.”
Eastenders airs on BBC One weekdays and can be streamed via iPlayer.
