Emmerdale’s Kim Tate to have second thoughts over Will Taylor split

Revenge isn’t as sweet as she’d hoped.

Emmerdale spoilers follow.

Emmerdale’s Kim Tate will begin to question her split from husband Will Taylor next week, as she realises that she isn’t enjoying taking out revenge on him as much as she’d hoped.

After Kim discovered that Will and his ex-wife Rose Jackson had a one-night stand behind her back, she put an elaborate revenge plan into place, starting by blackmailing Will with threatening messages.

Kim later took things a step further by staging her own kidnapping. Then, after Will arrived to ‘rescue’ her, she knocked him into a coffin – where he finally confessed to the one-night stand.

Although Will’s now back at Home Farm, the couple’s relationship is still in tatters and Will has now teamed up with Caleb Miligan to try to get his own back on Kim.

In scenes airing next Tuesday (October 8), Will starts to feel bad about pressuring Jimmy King into selling his shares in the haulage firm for his own gain.

Will decides to invite Jimmy over to Home Farm for some drinks, promising that they won’t talk business. With Jimmy keen to take his mind off the situation with John Sugden, he agrees to have some beers with Will.

But when Kim comes home and finds the pair together, she’s angry at the mess they’ve made in the living room.

Later on, Kim reappears, dressed up for a dinner date with her financial advisor Peter. Will and Jimmy are stunned by Kim’s glamorous look, and Kim is pleased to have upset Will by making sure he knows about her date.

But events take a violent turn as Peter and Kim continue to annoy Will, with the evening ending with Will punching Peter.

It isn’t long before Lydia Dingle finds a contemplative Kim at Home Farm, where she’s considering the state that her marriage has ended up in.

Kim confides in Lydia that her plan to upset Will hasn’t given her as much satisfaction as she’d hoped for, leading Lydia to suggest that she and Will could still have feelings for each other.

But just as Kim is reconsidering things, Kerry Wyatt finds Will when he’s feeling low.

Could she unknowingly end up driving yet another wedge through Kim and Will’s relationship?

Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV1, and streams on ITVX.
