He makes a fateful decision.
Home and Away spoilers follow from Australian pace episodes, which some UK viewers may prefer to avoid.
Home and Away has hinted at big trouble for Theo Poulos after the soap’s latest death storyline.
Perri Hayes’ abusive father Carl was killed off in this week’s Australian episodes – with Theo quickly drawn into the tense aftermath.
In recent weeks, episodes airing at Australian pace have seen Carl make a sinister return to Perri’s life and try to draw him back into their old dynamic.
Carl had previously used Perri to carry out criminal jobs for him, so he tried to get him on board with another illegal assignment.
When Perri bravely refused to get involved, Carl carried out a brutal attack in the back garden of the Parata house.
Carl repeatedly dunked Perri’s head underwater in the outdoor swimming pool, hoping to terrorise him into changing his mind.
Perri managed to overpower Carl in self-defence, but the incident ended in Carl’s death as he drowned in the pool.
When Perri’s mentor Tane stumbled across the disturbing scene, he insisted on full transparency with the authorities and immediately called in the police.
Perri panicked and fled from the scene, before asking his friend Theo to help him hide out at Justin Morgan’s garage.
Home and Away’s latest promo, available to watch on Instagram, has hinted that this decision will ultimately come back to haunt Theo.
As police constable Rose Delaney grows increasingly frustrated over Perri’s disappearance and the lack of answers, she warns Theo that anybody helping Perri could receive a 20-year prison sentence.
Clearly spooked, Theo later arrives at the police station and announces that he’s handing himself in.
How much information will Theo share – and what will this mean for Perri’s future?
Home and Away airs weekdays at 1.45pm on Channel 5, with repeat screenings at 6pm on 5STAR and first look screenings at 6.30pm on 5STAR. Selected classic episodes are available via Prime Video in the UK.
