EastEnders airs Nish Panesar’s exit as Suki watches him die – but a mystery ally could save him

Nish’s downfall seems to have played out this Tuesday as the villain was hit by a major heart attack and seemingly died of his myocarditis. But fans believe he could be saved.

Suki Panesar got the last word as she watched her ex-husband seemingly die from a huge heart attack after another EastEnders showdown.

The villain played by Navin Chowdhry returned to Walford in recent months, telling his family that he’d been diagnosed with myocarditis, a heart disease which required him to undergo a heart transplant, but the chance of a donor was low.

On Monday, after realising his son Vinny (Shiv Jalota) was trying to take over the family empire, Nish tried to have him take the blame for his money laundering but the hunk double-crossed him again. Vinny was then urged by his mother Suki (Balvinder Sopal) to leave Walford and Monday’s trip to the Square ended on a cliff-hanger.

This Tuesday, September 24, Vinny realised his taxi was being driven by Nish, who took him to Walford East where he geared up to stab him to death – before a panicked Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) and Suki walked in.

Suki had been trying to get an update on Vinny’s location for a while before she encountered Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) in the café, who told her Vinny had supposedly cancelled his car ride, unaware Nish had actually intercepted it.

Exasperated by their ongoing feud, Ravi told Suki some home truths before she and Nish returned to No.41, where she tried to make amends with him and end the conflict once and for all. Unfortunately, Nish had either ideas as he vowed revenge on Suki, promising he would destroy her and “everyone she cares about.”

Nish soon lashed out, showing his anger knew no limits, but just as Suki ran out of the lounge, a massive heart attack left him in pain, crawling to the sofa where Suki later found him, out of breath.

While she was ready to do the right thing and call an ambulance, Nish’s pleas reminded her of his prior promise, prompting her to backtrack and watch him die.

Over on Twitter, now X, fans were celebrating as it appeared that Nish really was breathing his last: “Suki Panesar THE QUEEN YOU ARE!!”, “Suki ATE that”, “??? is suki rlly gonna let nish die LMAOOOO.” But one theory may suggest that someone could save him.

While many members of Nish’s family have turned their backs on him, Ravi appears ready to make his last days as comfortable as he can, which was proven when he reminded Suki she also had a part to play in the long-running feud.

Ravi has been keen on the idea of having his own family with his children Avani and Nugget as well as their mother Priya. As the illegitimate son of Nish Panesar, he has also been determined to make a good impression on the villain. But can he show up in time before Nish really takes his last breath?

Though Ravi could be the person Nish needs to survive, actor Navin Chowdhry has been tipped for an explosive exit from EastEnders as recent news have confirmed he quit his role in the programme. But will Nish really die?
