Emmerdale villain Tom King is set to make a return to the village after making himself scarce – and his estranged wife Belle Dingle could be in grave danger
Emmerdale’s Belle Dingle, played by Eden Taylor-Draper, could be in danger as her estranged husband Tom King, portrayed by James Chase, is set to return. The villainous Tom has been keeping a low profile after Belle revealed the months of abuse she endured at his hands to Charity Dingle, played by Emma Atkins.
Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) was furious upon learning about his sister’s ordeal but refrained from physically confronting Tom, although he made it clear that he was aware of his actions.
Since then, Tom has been avoiding the Dingles and Belle hasn’t had any contact with him.
However, as fans of the ITV soap know, Tom vowed to remain in Belle’s life permanently, so she isn’t naive about his eventual return.
Meanwhile, Amelia Spencer, played by Daisy Campbell, has started a relationship with Tom despite warnings about his dangerous nature and has secretly met up with him.

In upcoming scenes, Belle receives a call from her landlady, Kim Tate (Claire King), who informs her that her house has been left in disarray.
Belle has been staying at Wishing Well with Sam (James Hooton) and Lydia (Karen Blick) recently because even though Tom has officially left Dale Head, he kept showing up and Belle knew she wasn’t safe.
Along with Lydia. Belle returns to Dale Head to investigate Kim’s concerns and finds the place in chaos, reports the Manchester Evening News.
In the midst of the turmoil, Belle discovers a screw on the floor and is horrified to realise it’s a tiny camera. This shocking revelation confirms that Tom had been secretly spying on her in the house.

Feeling violated, Belle confides in Lydia who urges her to report the incident to the police with all the evidence.
The two women discuss the terrifying situation, with Lydia hoping she has said enough to persuade Belle to seek assistance from the police.
Meanwhile, Amelia seems to have altered her view of her new boyfriend Tom, and there is a glimmer of hope when she plans a private meeting with Belle to discuss him.
However, can Amelia be trusted in this matter or has she also fallen under Tom’s spell?
Alone at the Dingle’s, Belle anxiously waits for Amelia but is filled with terror when Tom enters the house, blocks her way out and locks the doors.
Will help arrive for Belle before it’s too late?
Emmerdale airs weekdays at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX
