EastEnders ‘seals’ favourite’s fate in cruel twist – as villain gets the last laugh

EastEnders has seemingly sealed the fate of Vinny Panesar (Shiv Jalota) in recent scenes, and things aren’t looking good for him.

Vinny and Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) have been on a mission to get their hands on Nish Panesar’s (Navin Chowdhry) inheritance, and Vinny was convinced that things were going well in tonight’s episode.

With Nish having taken control of almost all the family businesses following his divorce from Suki, she was determined to get back what was rightfully hers. The problem was that Nish had removed his entire family from his will.

For the past few months, Vinny has been doing whatever it takes to get back into his father’s good books, and it had truly been working – until it all went wrong.

Last night, Nish attended Vinny’s birthday party after receiving an invite from his son. He was so touched that he gifted him a family heirloom.

However, this left Suki suspicious, and she demanded that Vinny prove his loyalty to her by throwing the pendant away.

This move didn’t go unnoticed by Nish, and he was devastated by his son’s betrayal.

Because of this, Nish came up with a cunning plan.

He recently discovered that undercover police were looking into his chicken shop business, where he had been laundering money. In order to throw them off the scent, he and accomplice Harti decided that the best option was to put the business in someone else’s name and let them take the wrap.

Originally, Nish had decided against using Vinny in this way, but his latest actions gave Nish a change of heart.

In the most recent instalment of the BBC soap, Vinny signed on the dotted line, becoming the new owner of the chicken shop, and unwittingly sealing his fate.

While Vinny was completely oblivious and overjoyed that their plan was coming to fruition, Suki wasn’t so sure. She was quick to pull Nish aside for a private conversation about the going’s on at the chicken shop, but Nish assured her that Harti would be dealing with the money laundering and Vinny would be kept out of it.

However, that may not be the case. Is Vinny in danger of taking the wrap for Nish’s dodgy dealings?
