There are more dramatic developments to come in EastEnders as a relationship heads for the rocks when secrets emerge next week.
Anna Knight (Molly Rainford) has reached the decision to terminate her pregnancy, with Bobby Beale (Clay Milner Russell) in the dark over the pregnancy.
It’s Freddie Slater (Bobby Brazier) who is by her side at the appointment and later, their attraction builds to intimacy – which is then witnessed by Bobby.
As everything implodes, hearts are irreversibly broken – and there’s even more turmoil to follow.
Meanwhile, another scandalous situation begins to develop as Avani Nandra-Hart (Aaliyah James) secretly hides a relationship with an 18-year-old – something which is bound to lead to some serious trouble.
And Reiss Colwell (Jonny Freeman) continues to haphazardly lurch through his issues – he’s far from out of the woods…
Monday September 16
Anna insists to Gina that she’s happy about the pregnancy and intends to tell Bobby today, but when he arrives at The Vic, Gina finds out Anna has been dodging his calls.
When Bobby leaves, Anna finally opens up to Gina and admits she’s not ready to have a baby as Gina implores Anna to explore her options. Later while hanging out with her and Bobby, Freddie uses Anna’s laptop and sees details of the clinic.
Freddie keeps quiet and when Anna finds him later, she begs him to keep her secret – admitting she’s having an abortion and Bobby can never know.
Avani is hanging out with Mason, the older boy she’s been messaging, when Barney interrupts them and reveals that she’s just 15.
Mason, who is 18, is shocked as he thought Avani was at uni, but she brushes off his concerns and they kiss. Later, Avani strong-arms Barney into keeping quiet about Mason.
Elsewhere, Sharon and Elaine have a showdown over Linda and the events of the past few months. Harvey wins a trip to Greece thanks to a radio competition and asks Jean to accompany him.
Reiss is accosted by Teddy, who tells him that he needs Reiss to work on his books to hide his wealth, even if it means doing illegal fiddling. Reiss isn’t happy but has no choice.
Tuesday September 17
Anna is determined to head to the clinic alone, and brushes off Bobby when he invites her out. Freddie catches up with Anna and tries to convince her to tell Bobby the truth, but she refuses.
At Beale’s Eels, Bobby is stunned when Peter shares Lauren’s theory that Anna could be pregnant and Ian advises Bobby to talk to Anna so they can deal with this together.
Meanwhile, at the clinic, Anna talks through her options and decides to have an abortion.
She’s touched to find Freddie in the waiting room who takes Anna back to The Vic, and they share an emotional moment and end up kissing, unaware that Bobby has walked in.
Suki and Eve plan a surprise birthday party for Vinny at The Albert and tell Nish he’s not invited. After hearing that undercover police are digging into the chicken shop business, Nish comes up with a plan.
However, when Vinny makes an emotional plea to Nish to come to his party, Nish is touched by his son’s genuine emotion and shelves his plot.
Reiss continues to struggle as the gossips have a field day talking about Sonia’s guilt. Teddy piles on the pressure, saying he needs those books back by tomorrow as his ex’s solicitor is pushing for them.
Teddy offers to help Reiss prove Sonia’s innocence if he can meet the deadline, so Reiss agrees.
Harvey is disappointed when Jean refuses his offer of a holiday. Elsewhere, Avani is grateful when Barney agrees to keep her secret.
Wednesday September 18
Freddie rushes after Bobby, who accuses him of getting Anna pregnant. As Martin restrains Bobby, Anna arrives and insists this is not what he thinks. As Bobby and Anna storm into the Beale house mid-argument, all hell breaks loose.
Vinny’s party gets underway at The Albert, and Suki is shocked by Nish’s heartfelt compliments about her parenting.
Vinny is deeply touched when Nish gives him his present. However, when Vinny shows it to Suki, she insists that the gift is another stunt to buy his love.
Teddy is delighted that Reiss has sorted his books. Later, a reporter accosts Reiss to get an interview, having been tipped off that he’s defending his wife’s killer.
Thursday September 19
Reiss is pleased that his interview with the journalist has helped cast doubt on Sonia’s guilt.
Kim changes her tune and decides to support Sonia publicly, as Alfie pitches up with a box of ‘Save Our Sonia’ t-shirts but Reiss’ mood is shattered when Hugh arrives to ask him to sign the paperwork to release Debbie’s body for her funeral.
Reiss feels deeply uncomfortable as Hugh begs him to see the truth about his killer fiancé.
Elsewhere, Jean is touched when Harvey kindly offers her and Stacey the chance to go on the Greek holiday instead of him.
