Emmerdale spoilers for next week reveal Cain Dingle will desperately reach out to son Nate Robinson following his sad and abrupt exit from the ITV soap on Friday
There will be an update on Nate Robinson on Emmerdale next week it seems, following his sudden exit from the show.
Nate fled in Monday’s episode, while it wasn’t revealed to fans that he had gone until Friday. Viewers had been left convinced Jurell Carter’s character was dead after the barn fire, with him missing for days.
But it soon emerged that after his run-in with dad Cain Dingle and ex Tracy Metcalfe, he’d gone to Shetland for a new life after being offered a job there. Jurell quit the role of Nate after five years, with this being his exit storyline.
John Sugden confirmed he’d seen Nate before he left the village, confirming he had been away from the farm when the fire happened. He also confirmed that Nate had decided to leave and soon left the village, without saying goodbye to many residents.
Cain was left distraught amid his wife Moira Dingle’s brain tumour diagnosis, having disowned him hours earlier. He had wrongly accused him of having an affair with Moira, after their past fling five years ago.
Tracy also believed he’d kissed Moira, resulting in both her and Cain disowning him while Cain also violently attacked him. Realising the truth on Friday, Tracy sobbed as she realised she’d sent him away.

Cain was shown in turmoil as he realised he’d lost his son for good over a misunderstanding, and that he’d got it all very wrong. Now, a new spoiler for next week reveals Cain will take action as he’s desperate to have his son back.
Seeking forgiveness and wanting to make amends, Cain will finally reach out to Nate. With him unable to get through to him on the phone, he leaves his son a desperate voicemail.
He begs Nate to come home, but will he listen and can the pair sort things out? It seems Nate will not be returning to the show with actor Jurell announcing his exit after five years. He explained his decision to leave, and appeared to rule out a return.
Speaking to The Mirror and other press, he said: “It feels like everything is just falling apart overnight. It’s huge for him but family is massive for Nate. The fact that family is everything to him, it’s a pivotal moment in terms of Nate going forward and his decision leaving everyone behind.
“It’s not what he wanted to do, but he’s been left with no choice. It’s not backfired but everything has shattered apart. He’s lost his family and everything else.”
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX, with an hour-long episode on Thursdays.
