The floor is set to fall from beneath Bobby Beale’s (Clay Milner Russell) feet in EastEnders next week when two huge secrets change his life forever.
It all kicks off following girlfriend Anna Knight’s (Molly Rainford) discovery that she is pregnant.
The news completely throws her, following months of being caught up in a love triangle with Freddie Slater (Bobby Brazier). She’s unsure of where her loyalties lie, given the amount of times that Bobby has failed to support her.
Sister Gina (Francesca Henry) has her concerns, and urges her to come clean – but when she learns that Anna has been dodging his calls, she knows that she’s uncertain about going through with it.
Despite her initial thrill over the idea, she admits that she isn’t ready to have a baby and Gina implores her to look through her options for termination.
Later, Freddie uses her laptop and sees details of an abortion clinic.
He realises that he’ll struggle to keep it a secret from his best pal, but Anna manages to talk him into not saying a word.
After putting of Bobby’s plans to one side – leaving him disheartened – she heads off to the abortion clinic alone, unaware that Freddie is following her.
She’s alarmed to see him at first, but is warmed by his presence.
Over at Beale’s Eels, Bobby struggles to believe Lauren Branning’s (Jacqueline Jossa) theory about Anna potentially carrying their child, and his dad Ian (Adam Woodyatt) encourages him to speak with her.
Little does he know, back at The Vic, Anna is confiding in Freddie about her turmoil. Caught up in their emotion, the two kiss – just as Bobby walks in.
Oh dear.
Freddie rushes out, trying to explain himself and Martin Fowler (James Bye) is forced to restrain Bobby, who is full of rage.
Anna chased after them and tries to explain her side of the story, as she retires to No. 45 with Bobby to talk things through.
Is this the end of the road for them?
We know that this could lead into Clay Milner Russell’s upcoming exit, which the BBC confirmed in April.
A spokesperson told Metro.co.uk: ‘We can confirm that Clay will be leaving EastEnders later on this year, and we wish him the best for the future.’
