Emmerdale’s Nate Robinson appears to have left the ITV soap amid news actor Jurell Carter was leaving the show, but does Nate die amid the barn explosion?
Viewers tuning into Emmerdale’s stunt week are fearing the worst for Nate Robinson after worrying scenes.
But is Nate leaving the show and might he be killed off in a tragic twist? It’s known that actor Jurell Carter is leaving the role after five years, with reports emerging earlier this year.
In a recent episode he was devastated when his father Cain Dingle disowned him, with his wife Tracy Metcalfe also ending things for good just as they planned to reunite. Nate was accused of having an affair with Cain’s wife Moira Dingle, years on from their fling.
Nate protested his innocence but no one believed him, resulting in his dad violently beating him up. Tracy slammed him and kicked him out, and the last we saw of Nate he vowed to leave for good.
We last saw him on the farm, and he was noticeably absent amid a devastating fire tearing through a barn. Amid his dad Cain and stepmother Moira now being feared dead, with them trapped in the inferno, could Nate perish in the flames?
We haven’t seen Nate at the farm or near the barn since it caught alight, but fans can’t help but wonder if this will be his exit plot. Given the fact he begged Cain to believe him and his dad disowned him, could a tragic twist see this be the last conversation between the father and son?
It’s not known when or how Nate leaves the soap, with some fans wondering if he has already left. He vowed to leave on Monday night and has been AWOL since, but will he return at some point?
Sharing the theory that Nate will sadly die in the fire, one fan posted: “Where is Nate please do not kill off Nate?” Another asked: “Where was Nate? weren’t he off to see Moira? was he hiding in a petrol can?” A third added: “Nate will die a hero in the fire, and Cain will be utterly wracked with guilt over disowning him,” while a fourth said: “I know it hasn’t shown him tonight but I fully think Nate is in the barn.”
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX, with an hour-long episode on Thursdays.
