Emmerdale legend Cain Dingle could be set for a shock prison exit following a surprise murder in the village
Emmerdale fans reckon Cain Dingle will be sent to jail for a shock murder – but it’s not Tom King he kills.
Soap favourite Cain (Jeff Hordley) has been left reeling recently after learning about Tom (James Chase) abusing Belle (Eden Taylor-Draper). Last week, Belle confided in Charity (Emma Atkins) about Tom and emotions ran high as Charity relayed Belle’s painful experience to her brother Cain.
Enraged, Cain wanted to confront Tom immediately, however following Belle’s explicit instructions, Charity pleaded with him not to – something he agreed to.
As well as Belle’s ordeal, Cain’s also been dealing with his wife Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb) and her concerning behaviour recently. The telly fave has been acting out of character for weeks, and things took a dramatic turn when Cain was shocked to learn that Moira had ‘kissed’ stepson Nate Robinson (Jurell Carter).
In scenes from last week, Moira tried to kiss Nate, who firmly rejected her and chastised her for her actions. However, it appeared that Moira had a seizure and was not actually trying to kiss him.
Caleb Milligan (Will Ash) saw the ‘kiss’ and told an angry Cain. Long-time viewers will remember that Moira and Nate had an affair when he first moved to the village, putting her marriage to Cain at risk.
Cain was furious after finding out about the ‘kiss’ and attacked Nate in shocking scenes, disowning his son despite his emotional denial of any wrongdoing.
Nate was left bloodied and battered after the attack, with fans now fearing that he could die from internal bleeding. Especially as actor Jurrell is reportedly leaving the soap after a five-year stint. And in what would be a shock twist, if Nate did die from Cain’s assault, the Dingle legend could be set for a shock prison exit.
Sharing their thoughts online, one fan wrote on an Emmerdale Facebook fan page: “I think Nate dies from Internal injuries and Cain faces manslaughter.” A second agreed and penned: “That’s what I think, or bleed on the brain.” Another viewer wrote: “I wondered about internal bleeding when he was holding his side….”
Another chimed in on the social media platform and proclaimed: “Cain should be charged with murder then…” Someone else posted: “I wonder if Nate dies from Internal bleeding.”
Emmerdale airs weeknights on ITV1 and ITVX at 7.30pm
