Next week, the BBC One soap is set to air a dramatic showdown between Anna, Bobby and Freddie as she’s faced with a huge decision that could spark one resident’s departure from Walford
After receiving a huge baby bombshell, Anna Knight (Molly Rainford) is set to consider her options next week but her persistent feelings for Freddie Slater could mark the end of her relationship with Bobby Beale.
In forthcoming episodes, Anna insists to her sister Gina Knight (Francesca Henry) that she’s happy about her pregnancy and that she intends to tell Bobby that same day. However, when Bobby walks into The Queen Vic to see her, Gina finds out that her sister has been avoiding his calls.
Bobby later leaves The Vic and is still completely unaware of the pregnancy, but Anna soon tells Gina that she doesn’t feel ready to have a baby. Following the admission, Gina implores Anna to explore all her options.
Though Gina keeps Anna’s secret, Freddie Slater (Bobby Brazier) figures it all out when hanging out with her and Bobby, as he spots details of a clinic on Anna’s laptop.
Tactful Freddie keeps quiet but when Anna finds him, she begs him to do as her sister and keep it under wraps and confirms having an abortion – but Bobby can never know.
Bobby is blissfully unaware of his girlfriend’s dilemma and invites her out but she brushes him off once again and heads to the clinic alone.
Freddie quickly catches up with her and pleads with her to tell Bobby the truth but Anna categorically refuses.
Over at Beale’s Eels, Peter Beale (Thomas Law) shares that Lauren Branning (Jacqueline Jossa) has been speculating that Anna may be pregnant, leaving Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) to encourage his son Bobby to speak to her.
Meanwhile, Anna talks through her options at the clinic and confirms she wants to have an abortion. She is then touched to find Freddie expecting her in the waiting room and the pair head back to the Queen Vic.
But when alone, emotions continue to run high between the two and they kiss – unaware that Bobby has walked in to catch them red-handed.
Later on, Freddie tries to save what he can from his friendship with Bobby, rushing after him, but Bobby responds by accusing him of getting Anna pregnant.
Martin Fowler (James Bye) is forced to restraina a fuming Bobby, while Anna insists he has jumped to conclusions. Bobby and Anna soon storm into the Beale house mid-argument, where tensions erupt.
Meanwhile, across the Square, Reiss Colwell (Jonny Freeman) is accosted by Teddy Mitchell (Roland Manookian), who tells him that he needs the accountant to work on his books to hide his wealth, even if it means doing illegal fiddling.
Despite being a killer, Reiss isn’t happy abiut Teddy’s request but has no choice but to agree. As he continues to struggle with the gossips talking about Sonia Fowler’s (Natalie Cassidy) guilt, Teddy piles on the pressure, saying he needs the work complete as his ex’s solicitor is pushing for them.
Teddy then offers to help Reiss prove Sonia’s innocence if he can meet the deadline, so Reiss agrees. But what exactly will Teddy do?
Elsewhere, Harvey Monroe (Ross Boatman) wins a trip to Greece thanks to a radio competition and asks Jean Slater (Gillian Wright) to accompany him. But he is left disappointed when Jean refuses his offer of a holiday.
However, Jean is later left touched when Harvey kindly offers her and Stacey (Lacey Turner) the chance to go on the Greek holiday instead of him. Will the two women get their holiday abroad?
