Emmerdale viewers are convinced that Tina Dingle will not be leaving the village for good after Cain Dingle set her caravan on fire during Tuesday night’s episode
Tuesday night’s Emmerdale was packed with dramatic scenes as Cain Dingle, portrayed by Jeff Hordley, made a vow to permanently remove his estranged sister Tina, played by Samanatha Power.
The episode featured Vinny Dingle, played by Bradley Johnson, returning to Home Farm upon discovering that Tina was his biological mother.
Eager to understand her ‘true’ motives, Vinny sought to question Tina about her decision to give him up to Mandy, a character brought to life by Lisa Riley, when he was an infant.
As they sat down for a conversation at Wishing Well Cottage, Tina admitted her struggles with motherhood and confessed that giving him up was the best choice for both of them.
Vinny attempted to negotiate with Tina, presenting her with a choice – either remain in his life or return Zak’s will and depart from the village in exchange for £50,000.
In classic soap opera fashion, Vinny was devastated when Tina accepted the money. However, he had a surprise in store – the envelope was actually empty, revealing to Vinny and the Dingles that Tina is a deceitful liar who cannot be trusted, reports Leeds Live.
Joining the Dingles at The Woolpack, a distressed Vinny recounted Tina’s actions, leaving Sam, played by James Hooton, and Cain seething with their sister.
Cain confronted Tina without hesitation, dousing her caravan in petrol before setting it ablaze as Tina tried to reason with her brother.
With Tina seemingly having no option but to exit the village, some viewers have predicted a plot twist that could spell trouble for the Dingles.
One social media user remarked: “Please tell me that’s the end of Tina but I doubt it”, prompting another to respond: “She won’t go now”. A separate comment read: “Think she might have gone for now, but she will be back with her kids in tow a new branch of the Dingles”, while yet another chimed in: “She mentioned kids so no doubt they will soon be turning up.”
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX, with an hour-long episode on Thursdays.
