Nick Tilsley puts his relationship with Leanne Battersby on the line next week while Tyrone Dobbs faces a sad goodbye in next week’s Coronation Street.

Starting with Nick and after weeks of trying to keep Rowan Cunliffe and his blackmail tactics at bay, he finally decides to go to the police with all the information he has about The Institute mentor who has been behind his partner Leanne Battersby’s changes in recent times.

After informing Toyah Habeeb that he is going to report Rowan to the police for blackmail, Nick calls at the police station and hands DS Lisa Swain a notebook with all of the details.

Meanwhile, Leanne confides in Amy Barlow, after her failed attempts to get her invovled in The Institute, that she emailed herself a load of files on Rowan’s computer, could Leanne have the key to getting Amy’s £40,000 inheritence money she ‘invested’ back?

Speaking of the money and Amy tells her grandfather Ken she’s going to have to work more hours if she’s ever to replace her £40k inheritance and Ken feels guilty knowing that he could help. When Cassie Plummer arrives, Ken tells her about his premium bond win and how he’s thinking of giving the money to Amy. Will Cassie change Ken’s mind?

Back to the consquences of Nick’s actions and over a frosty breakfast, Sam Blakeman urges both Leanne and Toyah to forget Nick ever existed and remember that they’re sisters. But it’s not long before Nick calls at the flat with news about Rowan. Will it be more bad news?
