A call brings horrific news as Carla risks her life to take down Joel in Coronation Street

Joel Deering (Calum Lill) may think he has won in Coronation Street, but there are many formidable women on the case, vowing to topple him.

When Dee-Dee Bailey (Channique Sterling-Brown) makes is clear she won’t let her quest for justice drop, he is unsettled – and then he comes up against another person set on exposing him.

Standing up to him, Carla Connor (Alison King) exposes his true colours in public.

But, while we whoop and cheer her, has she put herself in danger as Joel works out a way to fight back?

Speaking of fightback, Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) is slowly starting to become uneasy over the actions of Rowan Cunliffe (Emrhys Cooper) as she realises how he has treated Amy Barlow (Elle Mulvaney).

And, when she discovers files on his computer, more than one truth is about to come to light in dramatic fashion.

At the station, Lisa quizzes Kit about the evidence planted on Nathan.

Paul is recording a manifesto of all the things he’d like Billy to do after he’s gone but when he attempts to play it to Billy and Summer, the synthesiser has run out of power.

Summer takes charge and orders Billy to get some fresh air whilst Paul rests. With Billy being out, will Summer be able to help Paul?

Abi pulls Kevin and Jack in for a hug as they prepare to leave for Jack’s sentencing.

Leanne summons Nick to the Bistro, what does she know?

At Kit’s request, David calls at the flower shop flat and gives Paul a haircut. When David suggests to a reluctant Billy that they go for a drink, Paul insists he should have some fun.

Paul and Kit agree that they should spend as much time as they can to make up for all of the lost years.

Having shared her frustrations about Betsy with Carla, it’s clear Lisa and Carla are growing closer.
