BBC EastEnders the Six new victim ‘sealed’ as ‘unpredictable’ character wreaks havoc

Bernie Taylor has been determined to figure out what really happened to Keanu Taylor, as she grows convinced Sharon Watts was involved in the murder – but could she be in danger?

Linda Carter has a poison pen pal but has no idea Bernie Taylor is searching for the truth about Keanu Taylor’s death, which could leave her in the Six’s firing line.

The Queen Vic landlady played by Kellie Bright has struggled with her guilty conscience as she remains haunted by the murder of Keanu Taylor, which she is responsible for, unbeknownst to the authorities.

While the rest of the Six have tried to help her keep the secret under wraps, Bernie Taylor (portrayed by Clair Norris) has been determined to get to the bottom of things and began sending threatening Linda with malicious and unsigned letters.

Bernie was revealed to be working with Dean Wicks, who was framed for Keanu’s murder and is set to face trial for a crime he didn’t commit. And her eagerness to unmask her brother’s killer may lead her straight into a trap set by The Six, and much like Reiss Colwell, she could become their next target.

Sharon Watts actress Letitia Dean, who has been a part of the BBC soap since it first aired in 1985, has hinted at upcoming trouble for Bernie as her on-screen alter ego is due to be concerned over the latter’s behaviour.

“It’s very concerning for her. Bernie is hell-bent on making Sharon pay for the death of her brother and she’s made it very clear that she won’t let this issue lie”, Letitia shared. “We’ve seen Bernie resort to some very low tactics in the past couple of weeks so who knows how far she is willing to go, she’s very unpredictable.” But another danger is looming as Dean’s trial may bring Chrissie Watts back to Walford.

Letitia Dean revealed that her character will be facing her “worst nightmare” as Dean’s murder trial will spiral into chaos. “It gets out of hand very quickly, and I don’t think any of the women could have predicted what happens, but that’s all I’ll say for now”, Letitia said. And as chaos continues to unfold, taking its toll on Linda Carter, Sharon is met with a bombshell that will leave her in a difficult position.

Letitia informed that Sharon will be overwhelmed by “sheer panic”, as she added: “It’s her worst nightmare. Sharon thinks Linda is heading straight for the bottle, and all of their chances of freedom are diminishing by the minute every second she is away from that courtroom.”

Viewers are pre-emptively warned: “Expect a lot more drama. It’s far from over!” Several theories around the trial have been swirling online as soap fans believe they’ve rumbled an upcoming return for Chrissie Watts, due to actress Tracy-Ann Oberman being tipped to head back to Walford.

Christine aka “Chrissie” Watts was another one of Walford’s major antagonists as she’s known as the murderer and widow of Sharon Watts’ father Den and made her first appearance in the fictional borough of Walford in April 2004, when she was looking for Den in the Square. But how will her return play out? Will the Six’s secret remain unscathed?
