Since serial killer Gray Atkins put his house up for sale at One Albert Square it was unknown who would live at the iconic house but the property’s new owners have finally been revealed
EastEnders has confirmed three new residents in Albert Square as Teddy Mitchell buys Gray Atkins’ house to set up a new family home with his two sons in Walford.
As fans of the BBC One soap will know, serial killer Gray put his house up for sale making his ex-partner Chelsea Fox (played by Zaraah Abrahams) homeless with their young son Jordan.
During Tuesday’s trip to Walford (August 20), Chelsea moved her last belongings out of her former home as she reminisced about the good times before joining her mum Denise (Diane Parish) at 20 Albert Square.
But the identity of the property’s new owner didn’t remain a mystery for long as Teddy (Roland Manookian) confirmed he had bought it.
Meeting his two boys Harry (Elijah Holloway) and Barney (Lewis Bridgeman) in the Square’s garden, Teddy recieved a phone call confirming he could pick “the keys up”, leaving them confused.
“Keys?”, Harry asks. “Yes mate the keys, that’s why I wanted you here”, Teddy replied.
Making a big announcement he added: “Look you know I’ve been thinking it might be best for us to move for quite some time now, and well you getting your face rearranged proved my point.”
“I kind of bought a house,” Teddy stated before adding: “You’re now looking at the proud owner of One Albert Square.”
Teddy’s move to Albert Square means the family will be staying around, and it seems the jack-the-lad’s past is set to unravel too.
In next week’sĀ EastEndersĀ episode, Teddy hosts a housewarming bash in hopes of getting on the good side of his new neighbours.
His efforts seem to pay off as he charms Kim Fox (Tameka Empson) and former occupant Chelsea (Zaraah Abrahams) into attending his party.
But the gathering takes an unforeseen twist when Teddy announces a last-minute condition he included in the purchase agreement for Gray’s property that leaves Chelsea stunned.
As the party rolls on there is another bombshell, when Harry brings disconcerting news to Teddy, warning him that “You know who” has been poking around their old haunt, trying to track down their new whereabouts.
But who is the mystery person Teddy has run away from? EastEnders fans will have to wait and see.
