The stars are campaigning for votes.
EastEnders stars have taken part in the final photoshoot of the Inside Soap Awards 2024 voting campaign.
Cast members from the BBC show recently teamed up at a studio in London as the battle for public votes continues.
Digital Spy went behind the scenes as Walford’s finest posed for some glamorous photos, which can be seen in this week’s issue of Inside Soap alongside some exclusive interviews.
Six nominees from the cast took part, with each representing their respective categories and giving a pitch for EastEnders to win that all-important Best Soap prize.
Long-serving star Scott Maslen (Jack Branning) was among those present on the day, after receiving a nomination in the Best Actor category. He was also representing the Fox-Trueman-Brannings for Best Family.
Following her emotional performances as Yolande Trueman this year, Angela Wynter represented EastEnders for the Best Actress category.
Navin Chowdhry was on hand to represent the sinister side of life on Albert Square, as his scheming character Nish Panesar is up for Best Villain.
The Sukeve phenomenon also wasn’t forgotten, with Heather Peace celebrating Suki Panesar and Eve Unwin’s inclusion in the Best Partnership category.
Sophie Khan Levy also took part as she’s up for Best Newcomer following a memorable first year in her role as Priya Nandra-Hart.
The star of the show, however, was Laila Morse (Mo Harris) – who was kind enough to join the shoot on her 79th birthday and discussed her nomination for Best Comic Performance.
The full photoshoots and interviews from the day can be found in the new issue of Inside Soap, which is out today (August 20).
Digital Spy’s own chats and behind-the-scenes footage can be watched in the video at the top of this page.
Voting for the Inside Soap Awards will stay open until Friday, August 30 via the Inside Soap website.
EastEnders airs on Mondays – Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer, where most episodes drop early at 6am ahead of their TV broadcast.
