Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) is set to become the next victim of a secret tormentor in upcoming EastEnders scenes.
In recent scenes, Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) was targeted by an anonymous blackmailer, who sent poison pen letters and threatening text messages that suggested the sender knew what had really happened on Christmas Day.
Viewers will know that Linda stabbed Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters), with the rest of The Six helping her to cover it up.
Since then, they have framed Dean Wicks (Matt Di Angelo) for the crime, though he is desperate to prove his innocence.
It didn’t take long for viewers to discover that Linda’s blackmailer was actually Bernie Taylor (Clair Norris), who had teamed up with Dean in the hopes of finding out what had really happened to her brother.
Her mission was clear: Rattle Linda enough to put her off standing as a witness against Dean in court.
After a few days, Bernie’s mission was successful, as the prosecutor was forced to take drunk Linda off the case.
However, Bernie was horrified to realise that Dean had been using her, and he had no intention of helping her find her brother’s real killer.
Suspicious that Sharon was the true culprit, and that Linda was lying to protect her best friend, Bernie later plied her with alcohol in the hopes of getting her to reveal all, though the plan took a terrifying turn when Linda ended up hospitalised.
Bernie isn’t finished her search for the truth, however, and still has her sights firmly set on Sharon.
In upcoming scenes, Sharon is horrified when she too starts receiving ominous messages.
But when Bernie drops her burner phone in the cafe, could the cat be out of the bag?
