On social media, Liam wrote: “Morning shout out to our amazing NHS. Especially all those at the Royal Oldham who took superb care of me over the past two days.
Liam concluded: “What a mess we would be in without them.”

Liam made his very first appearance on the cobbles back in 2011 and shared his role with his twin brother, Connor.
The pair took a break from the show, with their character returning in 2022. Dylan returned to the ITV soap whilst his brother ditched acting for a sporting career.
Dylan Wilson is the son of Sean Tully, played by Antony Cotton – whom Liam is very close with. In a post at the beginning of August, Liam wished his on-screen dad a happy birthday.
Alongside a snap of himself and Sean in the early days of filming, he wrote: “Wishing a very happy birthday to @antonycotton. Thank you for everything you’ve done for me. For being my first mentor in this industry. I owe you a lot. Hope you have a great day!!”.
Liam even paid tribute to his on-screen dad along with his real-life dad in a Father’s Day post in June.
The TV star wrote: “Wishing a Happy Father’s Day to all Dads. Whether they are with us or not or if we don’t see them as much as we’d like. Today is a day of appreciation.
“I have had the privilege of having two dads. One off screen and one on. Both have impacted my life substantially, and both played a massive part in two very different aspects of my life.
“Therefore, I thank my off-screen dad and my on-screen dad”, tagging Antony Cotton in the post.
Liam’s on-screen mum Violet, played by Jenny Platt, recently returned to the show after 20 years away. Dylan was involved with a bullying incident along with character’s Liam Connor and Mason Radcliffe.
At the time of her return, Jenny, admitted her biggest fear was seeing what her children think, and revealed that she was “really, really scared” but after returning said it was like “stepping back into 2008.”
