Coronation Street Tina O’Brien’s age stuns fans as she shares glimpse at ‘midweek fun’

The Sarah Barlow actress told how she was enjoying some ‘midweek fun’ with her pals as she took to Instagram

Coronation Street star Tina O’Brien has been flooded with compliments after she shared a rare update on social media. The actress told how she was enjoying some ‘midweek fun’ with her pals as she shares a string of pictures and videos to Instagram.

Tina, who is famed for playing Sarah Barlow – nee Platt – in the ITV soap, was seen singing and dancing along to the Tina Tuner hit ‘Proud Mary’ in what was thought to be Manchester venue Albert Schloss.

The soap star, who was sporting a pair of denim shorts and a long-sleeved crop top, appeared to be having a whale of a team as she was she sang and danced with her pals, swishing her long blonde locks around in the process.

It came after she shared how she’d been to wacth Baz Luhrmann’s acclaimed Romeo + Juliet as it was screened at the Albert Hall, accompanied by a live choir and musicians.

Captioning the fun-filled post, Tina, 41, wrote: “Did my heart love till now? Midweek fun with the ladies.” And it didn’t take long for her fans and followers long to respond.

@xx.tinaobrienfan.xx said: “Aww you look lovely @tinaob83 hope you had a lovely time.” @markcooksilver commented: “Omg Tina, you look so young. You never seem to age.” @r_cat91 echoed: “You never seem to age. Stunning!” @mag73x replied: “Beautiful Tina.” @caseyljackson_ added: “How do you look that young!! So beautiful.”

It comes after Tina hinted she may be up for a role in a remake of Dirty Dancing if there were ever to be one as she showed off her moves while also revealing her first true love. After finishing up at work earlier this week, she headed out to enjoy an afternoon in the sunshine. Videoing her feet as she walked in the woods, Tina said she was ‘scaring herself’.

Alongside the post, which eventually saw her dogs walking ahead in front of her down a leafy path, the soap star wrote: “Pretending I’m in my own film [crying laughing emoji]. Also slightly scaring myself.” But things got much cheerier when Tina found herself a river with a tree trunk running cover it.

Again filming her feet, in which she could be seen sporting denim shorts and clean white trainers, she was testing her balance and her moves in a bid to recreate a famous movie scene. Setting the clip to the Bruce Channel track ‘Hey! Baby’, Tina wrote: “Switching up the tempo”.

And Dirty Dancing fans will have spotted she was referring to the scene in which Johnny Castle takes Frances ‘Baby’ Houseman to practice their upcoming dance number and that iconic lift. The moment clearly left Tina reminiscing as she then found a clip of the scene from the 1987 film in question on Instagram which she shared to her Instagram Story and said: “How it’s meant to look (my first true love),” adding a GIF of the late Patrick Swayze as Johnny.
