Hollyoaks’ Prince makes big sacrifice after baby secret reveal

He had to explain himself to Dilly.

Hollyoaks spoilers follow from Tuesday’s episode on Channel 4 streaming, which doesn’t air on E4 until Wednesday.

Prince McQueen made a big sacrifice on Hollyoaks after it was revealed that Zoe Anderson is pregnant with his child.

Zoe and Prince have been wracked with guilt over the situation, which began before Hunter – Prince’s brother and Zoe’s boyfriend – tragically died after taking a dodgy batch of drugs.

Dilly, Prince’s girlfriend, recently discovered the pair’s secret, and Tuesday’s (August 6) first-look episode began as she attempted to learn more about the situation.

She stormed into the house and demanded Prince follow her to the bedroom, though he had a different thing in mind altogether.

Dilly locked the door and said she wanted to play a game, convincing Prince even more that he was about to feel loved – but the situation soon became clearer as she asked if he was the father of Zoe’s child.

An emotional Prince explained his side of the story, proclaiming that he made a rash decision in a moment of madness, but Dilly was in a combative mood as she locked him in the room before heading to Zoe.

Before then, a tearful Dilly was spotted by Sienna as she exited the house, relaying that they had a fight which left their relationship in tatters. Sienna offered to help, but Dilly was in no mood to be comforted.

As Zoe retrieved her phone from the house, Dilly arrived and forcefully shut the door, explaining that they needed to talk about the situation. Despite admitting her error, Zoe remarked that Prince still loved Dilly, though she wondered if she deserved it.

After breaking down in tears, a crestfallen Dilly returned to Prince to express the immeasurable pain she was feeling, explaining that she would struggle to move past the incident.

Prince later told Zoe that he wanted nothing to do with her or the baby, with a shocked Zoe remarking that he was merely attempting to appease Dilly with promises that he may not be able to keep.

Hollyoaks streams first online via Channel 4 each weekday at 7.30pm. Episodes then air on E4 the following day, before getting their YouTube premiere a week after that.
