Coronation Street fans have issued a clear demand to show bosses as Daisy Midgeley came to Danie Osbourne’s rescue. While it’s been a long time since the former couple parted ways, the pair can’t seem to keep their distance from one another.

And now they’re hiding a secret. During Monday night’s (December 9) episode of the ITV soap, viewers saw Debbie Webster drive her new car across the cobbles. They almost struck Bertie Osbourne, who ran across the road to see Bethany Platt following her fallout with his dad.

Daniel was already furious with Debbie for her role within the cosmetic company that botched their girlfriend Bethany’s liposuction procedure and so was quick to rant at Debbie for nearly running over his son.

Despite being unimpressed by his latest outburst, Bethany agreed to meet Daniel later for a drink. They cleared the air, but things soon went back downhill for the pair as Bethany saw Jenny Connor wearing one of her tops, discovering Daniel hadn’t got rid of the clothes she’d decided to throw out and instead left them with ex-Daisy Midgeley.

Having fallen out again, Daniel drowned his sorrows before he stumbled around outside, catching Kevin Webster leave the keys to sister Debbie’s repaired car under the wheel. Daniel recklessly decided to take it for a spin as a stunned Daisy caught him before he crashed the motor.

She quickly helped him out of the car and as he stumbled to look at the damage, Daniel told Daisy he had to call the police but he couldn’t lose Bertie as he’s all he’s got. Against her better judgement, she took Daniel back to the Rovers and later told him that the incident was now taken care of but refused to reveal the details.

But, in an unexpected twist, Shona Platt was seen returning to No.8 Coronation Street nursing a painful arm injury having headed out during the night to meet DC Kit Green in a hotel room, with it still unclear whether Shona will continue her affiar behind husband David’s back.

As she stayed on the sofa, it wasn’t until the morning that David discovered her state and as she gave an excuse of falling down the stairs in the dark while looking for another pillow to sleep on the sofa, he felt guilty and whisked her to the hospital where Shona discovered she had two fractures.

Kit, meanwhile, was busy answering Debbie’s call about her missing car, with her quick to blame Sarah Platt following the run-in with Bethany. But at the end of the episode, with Sarah in the clear, when Kit checked CCTV at the police station, he clocked love interest Daisy driving Debbie’s car.

But the scenes between Daniel and Daisy have left them with the same demand. @daisyxdanielx said: “Favourite couple they should be together.” @charlottevsp4 commented: “Get them together again now.” @vickyfrench__ wrote: “Now get them back together.” @x_amy.allen_x posted: “Get them together again , they have mess as one now.” @ethanbritton1997 added: “I think they should get back together but I also don’t want Bethany to be alone.”
