EastEnders looks set to be very dramatic and tense this Christmas and New Year judging by huge new spoilers for the BBC soap, with a number of twists unfolding towards 2025

The last week of 2024 and the first week of 2025 are unmissable. There’s plenty of twists and turns ahead that are currently being kept under wraps, but what we can reveal is that one family is torn apart by some earth-shattering bombshells on Christmas Day.
Then towards New Year there’s a wedding planned, but it could well be at risk with characters warned they could face danger as a prisoner remains on the loose. Let’s start with Christmas and the big affair that is set to rock Walford when it’s exposed on Christmas Day.
Spoilers have already teased the Knights and the Beales will take centre stage this festive period as Cindy Beale’s affair with Junior Knight comes to light. Now, we have new details about how it will come about and what unfolds – and it is so dramatic.
In the days before Christmas, Lauren Branning is still clashing with partner Peter Beale as she hides her painkiller addiction amid her pregnancy. Amid the unrest at the Beales someone is blackmailing Cindy, but is it Lauren?
Evidence emerges that could reveal all, and Cindy fights to cover her tracks. Cindy concocts a plan that shocks her family, but what is she up to?

Cindy later receives another piece of damning information, and it seems nothing can stop the secret from coming out as Christmas Day sees “secrets and lies throw a wrecking ball into the Beale family”. The shocking truth about Cindy is revealed in spectacular fashion at The Queen Vic and all hell breaks loose between the families. In the fallout, tensions are at an all-time high between the Beales and Knights.
It’s said “fury and accusations are flying on all sides following the revelations of Cindy’s affair”. So what exactly goes down, and can either family come back from this?
There’s further heartache for others though, as Stacey Slater is offended amid her feelings for her ex Martin Fowler after his big decision about Ruby Allen. Denise Fox and Ravi Gulati get closer as he promises to keep her safe, while she still has feelings for Jack – so who will she choose?
Phil Mitchell continues to isolate himself and Sharon Watts senses he isn’t himself. She soon finds herself confiding in an unlikely ally. The next lot of spoilers discuss what goes down into 2025, and the drama is far from over.

Suki Panesar and Eve Unwin and their loved ones prepare for their joint hen do. Celebrations are cut short though when the police arrive, as there’s been a sighting of Nish in Walford. Suki panics, and questions whether to call off the wedding for the time being to protect everyone.
But after a pep talk from Yolande Trueman, Suki decides to go ahead with the wedding as planned – unaware that Nish is continuing to manipulate their grandson Nugget. At the hen do, Suki and Eve are a vision of happiness unaware that Nish is lurking in the shadows, threatening to ruin everything.
The day of the wedding arrives and the happy couple prepare to take their vows. It remains to be seen if things run smoothly. Elsewhere, Ravi and Jack come to blows over Denise. Martin rushes to Stacey’s side in her hour of need, but Ruby once again comes between them.
There’s some upsetting news for Jean Slater regarding the scam she fell for recently. Meanwhile, Freddie Slater unintentionally causes trouble when he suggests that Kat and Alfie should get married again.
