The I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! final is just days away and two more celebrities have been booted out of the jungle in a double elimination
Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly entered the fray of the jungle to announce the latest two celebrities who’d be bidding farewell to the campsite.
Alan Halsall and GK Barry were the unlucky stars chosen to depart from I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! a mere couple of days before the eagerly anticipated live final.
Reflecting on his time in the show, Alan divulged: “It was nothing like I expected. I expected camp life to be how it was but you can’t ever know what the people are going to be like. I met 11 amazing people and didn’t expect to make so many friends so quickly.”
He continued, sharing personal insights: “I met some people who will be friends for life. I should open up a bit more, I’ve learned that about myself.”
Asked about her time in the jungle, GK told Ant and Dec: “That was hell. I wouldn’t put my worst enemy through that.” However, she added: “The people were great.”
On what she learned, GK joked: “I never want to come back here but I feel more comfortable with myself.”
The emotional high point came as Alan revealed his astonishment at seeing his brother greet him in the jungle, coupled with the joy of knowing his daughter Sienna was proud and had been enjoying watching him, reports the Express.
The scene unfolded after the remaining contestants delighted in a feast of wild boar ribs paired with their preferred beverages.
GK Barry could not contain her elation while sipping wine, exclaiming: “The first little taste of a Pinot Grigio on my lips, was the closest I’ve been to an orgasm in this jungle.”
With drinks in hand, the stars captured the moment by taking a ‘jungle selfie’ on the disposable camera. Gathered around the campfire, they each reflected on the personal discoveries they had made during their jungle journey.
Oti Mabuse revealed: “I’ve learnt being vulnerable and being honest with your feelings and your emotion is actually a powerful thing.”
In addition, Corrie’s Alan Halsall shared: “I’ve learnt at 42 years old I can still make friends! I didn’t think I’d enjoy everybody’s company as much as I actually have.”
Coleen Rooney also opened up to the camp, saying: “I think I’ve learnt to accept the fact that I deserve to be here, I think for years and years I’ve kept everything close, as time’s gone on I’ve let go. So yeah, I’ve loved it, cheers.”
The remaining four celebrities will participate in the Celebrity Cyclone challenge on Saturday evening before another star is evicted from the jungle.
