Coronation Street confirm huge Lauren baby twist as Frankie rushed to hospital

Spoilers reveal Coronation Street’s Lauren suffering yet another blow as baby Frankie is admitted back into hospital after a health scare that leaves Dee-Dee spiralling

Coronation Street spoilers show yet another twist for Lauren Bolton and her son – with his life left hanging in the balance.

Dee-Dee Bailey (Channique Sterling-Brown) is also left in turmoil as baby Frankie is rushed to hospital and diagnosed with a serious illness. Lauren (Cait Fritton) is still in prison after she was discovered to be behind Joel Deering’s (Callum Lill) murder. Social services said she could not have Frankie with her inside, so her friends were forced to step up and look after him in her absence.

Next week, Joel’s parents Gus and Anthea spend time with their grandson in an attempt to bond with him, However, they are concerned when they notice Frankie’s body is littered with bruises.

With Lauren locked up, they take control and rushes Frankie to hospital for an examination. Lauren first accused the couple of lying, claiming they’re trying to set her up ahead of a potential custody battle.

However, the truth becomes clear when doctors give her Frankie’s blood test results. Following on to the week after, new scenes will show Lauren speaking with her boyfriend Max Turner. She reveals that Frankie’s situation is more serious than they first thought.

Dee-Dee, who is still hiding her pregnancy from her family, opens up to confides in Sarah Barlow and thinks she’s reached a decision about what to do about her baby. They are interrupted by Max, who informs them of Lauren’s situation.

She feels hugely concerned and heads over to the hospital to see Lauren. There, she reassures her that she’ll try and help find Frankie a donor. She later has a revelation and realises her child would be a half-sibling to Frankie and therefore could be a donor.

Dee-Dee continues her internal struggle as she weighs her options, with her conscious guiding her thoughts. However, she can’t help but feel that her child would be a constant reminder of Joel’s evil actions.

And the end of next week, the doctor officially confirms Frankie’s diagnosis and kickstarts the process of looking for a donor for Frankie.
