EastEnders spoilers: Danger for the Carters, Nish’s revenge and ‘devastating news’

EastEnders spoilers have teased some pretty huge twists and turns for the week before Christmas, ahead of dramatic scenes on the BBC soap – with danger and drama ahead

Viewers are in for a treat later this month if the new EastEnders spoilers are anything to go by.

The fallout to one villain fleeing prison is revealed it seems. Then there’s “dangerous” scenes for one iconic character, amid fears they are about to be killed off.

Surrounding this there is “devastating” news for two characters, while a kiss between a former couple leaves one person rattled. A new romance could be forming too amid fears for one character’s safety.

There’s also a hospital dash as someone’s secret is at risk, while another lie could be about to explode. Let’s kick things off with the latest on Nish Panesar, after his return to the show this week.

Just weeks on from his apparent exit when he took the blame for Keanu Taylor’s murder, we saw him making contact from prison this week. But after he found out Suki Panesar planned to wed Eve Unwin, he vowed revenge.

Now new spoilers tease that is on the cards, following him escaping prison in a shocking twist. Jack Branning tells his ex Denise Fox that there’s been a suspected sighting of Nish by an anonymous caller.

When Nish’s granddaughter Avani gets a job at Denise’s salon, the pair are horrified when two masked men break in and say Nish sent them. But would Nish really target Denise, and could this mean all of The Six are in danger?

Ravi Gulati is confused when he finds Denise in the middle of a panic attack. Of course she’s spooked, but Ravi can’t understand why she’s so frightened of Nish coming back. Viewers know that Denise almost killed Nish last Christmas, but will she admit the truth to Ravi and how will he react if she does?

It remains to be seen what Nish is planning, but he’s clearly out to terrify those he feels he’s been wronged by. Elsewhere, Cindy Beale is struggling to keep her affair a secret as daughter-in-law Lauren Branning continues to threaten to expose her.

Cindy has been supplying Lauren with pills amid her painkiller addiction, unaware that Lauren is pregnant. Lauren is struggling with her withdrawal symptoms once more, and when her symptoms worsen an oblivious Peter rushes Lauren to the hospital.

She fears she’s hurt the baby, while Peter is unaware about the pills. A scan confirms the baby is okay, and when Cindy finds out about the baby there’s an almighty showdown between them.

Cindy delivers an ultimatum in that either Lauren tells Peter the truth, or she will. But as Cindy piles on the pressure, will Lauren end up spilling the beans about her affair with Junior? And when Peter decides to propose, will he go through with it and what will Lauren say?

Elsewhere there’s “devastating news” for Ruby and Martin. The donor liver for Roman’s transplant isn’t viable, and soon the doctors confirm Martin is a match and could be Roman’s best hope. To Ruby’s shock and relief, Martin immediately agrees.

But amid the chaos with Ruby and their son it’s his ex Stacey Slater he’s confiding in. One thing leads to another though and the pair kiss, something that later leaves them both feeling confused. So might the pair reunite?

EastEnders airs Mondays to Thursdays at 7:30pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
