The truth came out…
Hollyoaks spoilers follow.
Robbie Roscoe made a major confession on Hollyoaks as he referenced his tormented past in the search for Darren Osborne.
Before the one-year time-jump on the Channel 4 soap, Robbie killed Dave Williams after discovering that he was the dangerous gangster Blue, though he has managed to keep this a secret from everybody in the village with the exception of Rex Gallagher.
An evolving storyline has seen Robbie’s half-brother, Darren, mysteriously vanish, with Robbie being consumed by guilt as he began to suspect that the disappearance could be linked to the killing of Dave.
Monday’s (December 2) episode saw a panicked Robbie tell Frankie that he believes Darren could be dead, with the character confiding in girlfriend Vicky of his belief that he is the one responsible for his demise.
Tuesday’s (December 3) instalment began with a stressed Vicky asking Robbie to explain what he meant, with Frankie walking in on the pair as they argued. A furious Vicky demanded that Robbie come clean in front of the whole room, though he wasn’t obliging just yet.
Robbie explained that his way of running The Loft may have led to a “grudge” with a disgruntled customer, though Vicky still seemed sceptical of his reasoning as the pair left the room on frosty terms.
Vicky began scrambling for information in the office as she once again demanded that Robbie tell her the truth, threatening that their relationship would be over if he didn’t come clean.
Robbie eventually told her that he killed Dave, with Vicky stunned at the reveal. How will Vicky react to the revelation, and will Robbie face any repercussions for his crime?
Hollyoaks airs on Mondays-Wednesdays with its Channel 4 streaming premiere at 7am, then an E4 broadcast the same night at 7pm. Full episodes are also released on YouTube a week after their Channel 4 release.
